Using a saucepan and stove

Add your desired amount of cacao to a small saucepan along with any spices you’d like (optional), as well as your choice of milk or water. If your cacao is in large chunks, you might want to cut them up before starting.

Next, warm the mixture on medium heat, & continuously stir to make sure the cacao completely melts. Try not to let it boil aggressively as this can damage the nutritional content.

Once everything is melted, enjoy.
